Ingredients
(In powder form) – Black Gram Dal, Green Gram Dal, Iodised Salt, Raising Agent (INS 500(ii)), Acidity Regulator (INS 330).
Recipe
- Add 580ml. water into this mix and whip it. Add crushed Green Chilli to it. Keep it aside for 15 minutes.
- Whip the batter before frying.
- Fry wada in hot oil at a consistent degree of temperature.
- After frying wadas, dip them into water for 5 minutes.
- Press each wada between two palms.
- Serve wadas with sweet cold curd (approx 800g) and sweet chutney. Sprinkle salt, red chilli powder, cumin (jeera) powder and chopped coriander leaves.
Makes 45 Dahiwada (approx. 45g each)
